#9 All the Waters of the Earth Shall Turn to Blood – The Body

So this is not something I’d normally listen to, but as I’m going for the album as a whole work, I sat through it.  A Body starts peaceful enough with choir.  It’s very pretty.  Then at 7:11 in band kicks in, and all was well until the vocals started.  I’m sorry, but it sounds like Animal from The Muppets is screaming.  Honestly, I couldn’t stop laughing.  There are some interesting moments, like Empty Hearth, which opens with a strange fast vocal chant and some interesting stuttering effects.  I’m not sure what I’m listening to, but it closes with throat singing…huh?  It’s heavy and sludgy.  Maybe you’ll like it.
